With opportunities to serve locally, domestically, and internationally, we strive to live in solidarity with those in need, realizing we all have much to learn from one another.
Food Insecure Breakfasts
Fall 2026: August 22, September 19, October 10, November 7, December 5
Spring 2027: January 16, February 13, March 20, April 17
One Saturday a month during the academic year, we meet at Washington Street UMC at 7 am to cook breakfast. We serve breakfast to those who are food insecure from 8-9 am. After serving, we clean up and are finished by around 10 am. All are welcome to serve and can join for all of part of the time. This is a great opportunity to bring friends!
Hurricane Helene Relief Trip
Clemson, SC | January 15-18, 2027
Over MLK, Jr. weekend, students from around the state will gather in Clemson, SC for a Hurricane Helene relief trip. Even though the cameras have largely “turned off” from covering the hurricane’s impact, the need for recovery efforts continue to this day. All are invited to join for this meaningful time of service. Cost for the entire weekend is $20 and covers everything. Scholarships are available.
Spring Break Service Trip
Washington, D.C. | March 6-13, 2027
Join us for spring break in D.C., staying right on Capitol Hill for a week of hands-on community learning, local service, and direct advocacy. We’ll dive into key social issues, meet face-to-face with policy advocates and lawmakers, and explore the city’s rich cultural landmarks together.
Whether you are passionate about justice, exploring your faith, or looking to build deep community, this trip is an incredible highlight of the year you won’t want to miss. All are welcome, so feel free to invite friends.
